That’s it! I have a blog!
I’ve been resisting for a very long time, but I decided to finally deploy a blog. All the cool guys do it!
There is Sean McGrath’s blog who I like to work with, and then I met this week SebPaquet and then, there is Stephen Downes whose work I respect a lot.
So, I’m trying it as well. After all, I’ve had my own domain name since before 1999. I’ve had my own web site since 1995 or so. So, why not try blogging as an experiment?

The blog looks great!! Congrats! WordPress is great, it’s very feature rich, but I’ve been too lazy to configure it the way I wanted it. So I am in the process of writing my own blog software which I will eventually make open source. I have been hoping you would start a blog for a while, so this is great! I will try my best to post meaningful comments!
I checked out your RSS aggregate and it seems The Raincoat Agreements feed isn’t returning anything, and the CS Underground one is the old feed. Just to make sure you have the right URLs, they are;
http://raincoatagreements.net/rss.php
http://csunderground.com/rss.php
Thanks!

I debated whether to contact you about this blog software business, but then, I really wanted to try wordpress, and I’m fairly happy with it. I was a bit disappointed that it didn’t come with a RSS aggregator… but nothing is ever perfect (I had to hack what you see on the right, like my pub. list).
I fixed the csunderground feed, but the raincoat one was already right. However, it will only output recent (last 24 hours) stuff. Though it might be slightly buggy: it seems that it keeps on including Seb’s stuff. I’ll have to check his feed to make sure his items don’t change just slightly to throw off my software.
(I use a customized version of jnews… which is a python sofware.)

Thanks for the proposal regarding bloglines agg., but now that I got something working, I think I’ll stick with it. It works well: the only thing is that I had to spend a lot of time fiddling until my aggregator worked, and the result is a bit of a hack.
