My first real video podcast (a test, really)

I plan to go the video podcasting route in 2007. While I still think text is the preferred medium on the Web, I feel that video can add depth to one’s communication.

In preparation for this next step, I’ve shot the following video:

At this point, I want people to criticize my video recording as much as possible. I want to perfect my technique so that video podcasting can become an effective means of communication for me.

  1. You need more illumination, and more yellow illumination. The Quickcam cannot do white balance and you end up with too much blue-purple.

    Sit closer to the camera. The camera autofocuses. Your background is nicely in focus, your face is out of focus.
